Digital Maze Technology offers Exclusive Rights within your textbook area.

The Digital Maze Game is intended to provide maximum convenience to college professors, so that they will be more likely to buy your textbooks.  By providing them with easy to use "teaching breaks" (in-class maze games), you enhance their teaching.  By providing professors with easy to use take-home maze games, the students spend more time on their classes and learn more--and have fun to top it off.  As the game increases in popularity, professors will demand textbooks that include sets of DM Games--this will improve your market position if you obtain an exclusive license for your flagship textbooks (e.g Biology, Economics, Chemistry).

Some Details:
1. Professors are given a set of maze games to accompany a textbook (e.g. European History).  They are free to use these mazes in whatever fashion they like-- for in-class generation of discussion, for group study projects or as simple extra-credit assignments.
2. Maze games are hosted on our server, so the publisher need only give their adopting professors an internet link and password, and the professor is all set.
3.  The professor logs in and then just provides an email address to which the reports of student/class performance are sent.  [Powerpoint versions of the game can also be provided for in-class use in instances where internet may not be available.]
4. The maze games come "fully loaded" with questions, answers, clues and post-game explanatory material.  The professor can simply use as is, or they may choose to modify the content (of their personal game copy) to better reflect their views and course emphasis.  This option entails nothing more than editing the text boxes containing questions, answers, tips and explanations.
5. We are in the process of creating "dynamic help" tools so that when players get stuck they (1) get rewarded with help after a certain point, and (2) can then apply such help to "think their way" out of the maze.  These are tremendous learning moments that the Digital Maze Game exploits!

DM games provide direct, valuable feedback on student performance to instructors and breaks up the routine of platform lectures.  Because of its entertaining nature and challenge (as a puzzle to solve), it amplifies student motivation and increases "time on task".   This game has now undergone multiple rounds of pilot testing and evaluation.  The result? College students love to play this game and find it a most useful college textbook supplement.  Digital Maze Technology can thus provide a competitive edge for ANY textbook over its competitorsWe can provide games for any academic or professional subject and/or work with you to develop game content for your specific textbook. [Maze Games are most inexpensive when licensees provide questions/answers].  We can also help you reach out to your adopting professors to convey the student demand and pedagogical value of the Digital Maze games.  Our goal is to make professors request YOUR textbook.

Future Game Attributes:   The current prototype games are just the beginning of a Digital Maze Game Family that is designed to generate excitement, enthusiasm and friendly competition amongst various student groups.  This game technology / learning environment is expected to grow in scope and power with the specific goal of helping students master large factual knowledge-bases by rehearsal, by drawing linkages and most importantly by applying their knowledge (and self-judging their knowledge) within the context of a problem-solving environment.  The increasing richness of this learning environment, and the integral rewards, dangers and excitement, will amplify student motivation, and thereby enhance student performance.  While current information-space mazes use multiple-choice questions, our patent covers any information-based navigational architectures and so this game will increase in value as education becomes more digital, while this game becomes integrated into virtual-reality like environments.
