Prototype Maze Games (in Cell Biology and A&P)
NOTE: The first prototype games were created for advanced, specialized courses at NU.  While these games were uniformly enjoyed by student players, they were constructed without substantive resources and so do not represent the publication-quality Maze Game Packages that will soon be provided to Publishers.   Our first commercial prototype, featuring a professionally-designed interface (by Metaversal Studios, Boston, MA) is now available for licensing and demonstration purposes.  As to these "cell biology" mazes there is much specialized content with which even professional Cell Biologists will be unfamiliar, so please peruse these games with a grain of salt.
Let's Play:  Below please find links to play several Cell Biology
mazes and an Anatomy & Physiology maze; Answer Keys are
provided at bottom.  Please e-mail me if you need help with
any maze: d.omalley@neu.edu
.
Remember:
1. YOUR JOB IS TO FIND THE MAZE EXIT!
(the exit could be anywhere within the maze grid)
2. Read the tips (pull-down tabs) you find in the maze.
3. Don't presume a given direction in the maze is a good one:
The maze exit could be anywhere in the maze.
4. After you click on the link below, you will need this user

Anatomy and Physiology Maze

ANSWER KEYS to the Cell Biology Mazes are shown in small font at the footer of this web page.  The Anatomy and Physiology Maze was constructed by Ms. Leslie Day, our Education Technology consultant.  All mazes contain an Answer Key once you get to the maze exit.  As we create full-game packages there will be rich help within the maze, and additional explanatory information describing why the correct answer was correct at the maze exit (this was not possible for these early prototype games).  You can explore branch paths of the maze by selecting incorrect answers at any point.  A new maze version that incorporates Instructors' Grading and Maze Editing Tools is now available for licensing.   Because all use of "Information Space" style mazes is covered under our pending patent application, we can provide exclusive licensing options for your particular educational products.
